Facebook Rants – Scoffers In The Last Days

“..understand this…in the last days…will come perilous times. scoffers..following..their desires, wandering off into myths.”

SCOFFERS IN THE LAST DAYS

“The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD rose against his people, until there was no remedy.” 2 Chron. 36:15-16

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.” (terrible, perilous) Strong’s #5467 2 Tim. 3:2

a. hard to do, to take, to approach.
b. hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous: harsh, fierce, savage: c. reducing the strength; difficult, i.e. Dangerous, or (by implication) furious — fierce, perilous.

“But you, beloved, remember what was foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ when they said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow after their own ungodly desires.” Jude 17-18

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Tim. 4:3-4

until there was no remedy.”

“the wrath of the LORD rose against his people, until there was no remedy.” 2 Chron. 36:15-16

Why is it that from one of the very places God’s messengers should come, is the very place from where much scoffing comes? Not only that, but to these very places warnings must come!

How say you, you ask? Examining evidence of practices and beliefs, reveals much un-scriptural, unorthodox, extra-biblical, unverifiable subjective experiences, beliefs and doctrinal error, clearly evident when examined. These spiritual issues are prevalent every where, and voices are beginning to sound an alarm. I’m not a prophet, but I see the hand writing on the wall!

Unfortunately, (and it seems a cunning maneuver by the deceiver), many preoccupied ‘messengers,’ have become “scoffers, following their ‘desires,’ wandering off into myths.”

The statement below, of a prominent leader, is indicative of the attitude many are expressing, in response, and regard to evaluation of their ministries. Scoffing in various ways is normative among many targeted.

“The Ishmael spirit includes most of the Charismatic churches today. There are two movements, and I believe with all my heart the Charismatic movement is the Ishmael movement… “We’re looking for a whole new order…I don’t want prominence in Ishmael’s camp. I don’t want to be a part of it at all…we want to come out of the old order, because it’s unbroken…untrained…humanistic…man made, self-centered… illegitimate…afflicted with evil spirits…“ Wow!

Messengers have been muted, by their own desires, none the less. Years ago Loren Cunningham wrote a book, ‘The Death Of A Vision.’ It took me years to understand, accept, and apply that message to my life. Anything can become an idol, even a ‘vision’ from God. By vision, I mean a mandate, a purpose, a dream, a directive, a Godly desire. Yes even a Godly desire! Because that desire can become corrupted by human desire, human ambition, self reliance, self identity, self importance, self worth.

Our hearts, for this reason, must be tested. As well, our commitment is tested, our faith is tested, our integrity is tested, our character is tested, our love is tested, our faithfulness to the Word of God is tested, our humility is tested.

Yes, messengers have been muted, silenced, deafened, blinded, deceived, by their own desires, even Godly desires, corrupted by untested hearts, enticed into myths, thro’ abandoning the Scriptures as ‘final authority,’ dulling and deadening both Scriptural and spiritual discernment thro’ failure to ‘test all things,’ thro’ isolation from accountable peers. There is much wise, Biblical, protocol given in Scripture, that is abandoned in the downward process to delusion, bound in a lie!

What is the hand writing on the wall? – …”they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD rose against his people, until there was no remedy.” 😢
